Zmax + Valvetrain question

When I do the oil soak on my valvetrain parts, would it be a good idea to put the Zmax in with it?

Before you waste any money on Zmax, read this thread and article. Zmax is just tinted mineral oil. There is nothing beneficial about it.

Zmax ! Funniest commercial I ever seen. Even that old codger Shelby endorses it in his prized Mustangs .

If your engine block is that porous, it would be safe to say your block would not hold together long under repeated high stress operation let alone valvetrain parts.

I love the commercial where the superglued parachute is fixed with Mighty Mendit and the jumper makes a safe landing with it. You can see the new version I found, TFF! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPPP4D3YeGs

One of the Zmax solutions smells like rubbing alcohol.

So save yourself some money and go down to your local pharmacy if you want to throw that stuff in your motor.
