There have been a several "ZL1" cars in the history of the Camaro.... the 1st Gen was a "production" car.

The 4th Gen 2000 is a "concept" car with a 572ci big/block.

Then there's the GMMG 2002 LS6 "prototype" version:

GMMG ZL1

Here is some more info on the ZL1 from GMMG. The site says 400hp but the 427 cars make 500+ rwhp.

the phase II was the LS6 with 400 hp then came the LS6-C5R 427 motor that made about 600+ hp, this option was costly around 100k dollars. There were only 2002 69 ZL1 camaro's made and each one is different, no two ZL1's are the same. Some had chrome cragar SS's on them some had Z06 rims some had snow flake SS rims, it just depends on what you wanted, the colors are differnt too, some sunfire yellow, Hugar orange, Electron blue, phantome green. They are awesome cars, i only wish they made them more available to the public and made more of them!

As far as the 2000 concept thats all it is, just a concept. It was actually i 94? z28 that was just converted to the 98+ front end and had a 427 dropped in it.
