can you simply bypass it?
Right now, I can turn the key on, jump from the battery to the solenoid wire, and it fires right up and runs. The security light flashes but who cares. I was just going to rig a push button starter if the VATS/PASSkey cannot be easily (CHEAPLY) bypassed.
NEED HELP TODAY!!

 

the VATS system disables the fuel pump and the starter...i had to go thru all the b.s. when i was tryin to figure out wut to do to fix my car...ended up with a new bcm

 

well, technically, this is PASSkey, and NO it doesn't disable the FP, as stated my fuel pump and injectors work fine, th ignition is dead. I'm in the process of wiring a Moroso remote starter button

 

You just have to bypass the theft deterrent relay if it will run like you said. Schematics are on my site.
