WS6 Hood Grills?
Guys, not sure if this is right place or not, but does anyone know if there is an aftermarket place that makes billet/alum grill inserts for the 93-97 WS6 Hood? I would like to replace these flimsy plastic pieces but can't seems to find anything for the LT1 model car all of them out there are for the LS1 style hoods. Let me know?
i bought a pair for $50 from hawks 3rd gen parts... i havent installed them yet because the hood hasnt been painted, but they have the correct clips..
here is a link to where i got them... $50 shipped for the pair beats $95 apiece from GM

Thanks for your message and I'll get those as a backup, but I really am looking for a stainless/metal replacement. Looks better and lasts longer.

But will a metal grille have the same percentage of open area as the thin plastic grilles? Those hood slots aren't that big to begin with.... I pull the grilles out at the track. But then I also have the baffles cut out of the hood, the top of the airbox cut out and the smooth connector at the throttle body.
if you're looking for metal ones, you most likely will still need those...
most metal grills for LT1 WS6's are screwed into the plastic grills...
