Re: WOW borla is screwing me over.

If you bought the Hooker long tubes and their ORY you do not need the "s-pipe". The intermediate pipe (long pipe that goes from middle of car just to the over the axle tube) is the one you want to mate up with the hooker y-pipe. The S-pipe is only needed if you already have a '96-'97 cat-back exhaust and want to convert it to a single cat header and y-pipe setup. So all you should have to do is the remove the S-pipe on your car now and everything should "bolt" up. Unless I am misunderstanding something this should work for you.

Re: WOW borla is screwing me over.

If I remove the S-pipe on my car, i'm missing a 2 foot section of pipe. I'm trying to converter a 95< cat back to 96/97 dual cat y-pipe. So i need a s-pipe to go from the 95 catback, to my newer headers.

Does your new y-pipe connect to the cat-back in the middle of car or off to the side where a catalytic converter would be on a single cat car?

Re: WOW borla is screwing me over.

Its much more in the middle than my single cat y-pipe was. Its definetly not on the far right like on the single cat y.

Since it is in the middle you should not need the s-pipe. I should probably scrounge up a pic and see if that helps you out.
