Wiring Help

I need to run my Cooling Fans on a separate circuit because the original owner hacked up my factory wiring. I want to do a standard Relay setup but I don't know what *Switched* power source I can tap into under the hood (I just want the fans to come on when I turn the switch for now). Is it safe to tap into the lead for the icm or something similar for the relay?

I'm not good at all with wiring. . .

If you're running the fans through a relay, run a +12V wire (fused) from the red "+" junction block near the battery to the relay, then to the fans. Use the "switched" power source from the fuse panel at the end of the dash ("IGN") to provide the signal for the relay.

Your fans will run full time when the key is on, which may not be good. And, you will get an SES light for the missing stock fan relay circuit.
