wiper motor question

ok this has been bugging the crap out of me since i got my car but i can never remmeber to check on it until its raining, guess what, its raining :-p. everytime i use them they pop everytime they start to go up and when they come back down to a stop, mind you that gets annoying fast goin down the road. and on high it gets flat out rediculous because then the wipers go past the windshield and slap on everything around! my dad said something about slack in the wiper motor is there a way to adjust this or do i need a new one or what?

Re: wiper motor question

id just replace it...20$ at a junkyard im estimating...and you can do it yourself if you have the patience and the right tools

Re: wiper motor question

You might have some slack where the arms are attached. Make sure the nut is tight.
