Re: Windshield Wipers Stuck?

wiper motors go for 10-20. I have a spare laying around if your interested. Installation should cost nothing as its an easy swap.

Re: Windshield Wipers Stuck?

more than likely your motor is fine just the wiper module on top of your motor is bad, but....if you buy that module from a dealership it would be about the same as buying the whole motor from a salvage
its all on you i would prolly buy the whole motor from a salvage

Re: Windshield Wipers Stuck?

I had this same problem when I first bought my 97 Z28. I fixed the problem by taking the wiper motor assembly out of the car. I then took of the torque nut on the top of the assembly (not actually on the motor, but what attatches to the wiper accentuator, not sure if that's the right word.) Be careful taking this off as it is spring loaded. Take the top of this and rotate it. You'll have to use guess adn check to know how much to rotate it. This should fix the problem. Let me know if I left something out or something doesn't make sense. If you don't feel like doing this, replacing the assembly will work also. Good luck
