My windshield wiper thing is broken! When I wanna set the speed, none of them work but the "high setting" and when they sway back and forth they make a very hard popping sound. How do I fix this? Previous owner said I have to get a Windshield wiper computer thing? How much will this cost? do i have to order it online? how do I switch this? etc...It's spring time and summers commin and Its gonna rain like everyother day so I have to fix this soon! Thanks!

 

Oh man I have been down this road. I had a shop adjust my wipers and nothing. I had them replace one of the moduals like $500 or something like that and nothing. Turns out there is another modual that is like a thousand and it normally goes if something is to go on the wipers. (If I remember right these numbers are with shop time included) The price was ridiculous. Most of the time the wipers would stop part way across the window. Only kinda good news is my camaro got hit by a truck and was a v6, now I have the v8 Z28. So yeah saved me from having to buy that stupid mod.

I think its switch maybe when I click it so whatever speed I want the Wipers to move...none of them work but the fastest setting
