Window Problem

so sometime my window decides to work and sometimes it doesn't ? it'll go down but then not back up and then after a bit it'll go up !!
what could it be the motor or bad grounding ?

driver side window

any help would be great !

I should rephrase. It's not really the window motor. It's the thermal circuit.

Yeah your window motor is Dead. I had the same problem. I bought the motor for $14 on ebay and installed it myself. Its an easy fix.

The thermal circuit is inside the window motor housing. It's widely considered a design flaw in our cars. If you read the thread I linked it explains a way to circumvent it or you could just buy a new motor and put it in.

yeah it'd be better to put a new one since you have to take it out to do that mod !

Exactly. Plus, you can get them for around 50 bucks with a lifetime warranty from most parts stores. And Shoebox has an excellent tutorial to make installation a breeze: http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html
