(I couldn't find any old threads about this) I have a '95 Z and the driverside power window works, but the window does not roll up or down. You can hear the motor turning when the button is pushed. I pulled the door panel off and found metal shavings. What piece or pieces would you recommend checking? Is there a gear or something that may have worn? Thanks for the help!

 

You may have sheared off the teeth from the gear that the motor actually turns to raise and lower the window.

 

Probably bad windor regulator.
