window motor

K well I came outside today and went to work and realized that my drivers side window doesn't want to go down. it go's down like a cm and then makes a click and you then motor makes a loud sound like it's caught on something.

I had left my window down in the rain for a bit yesterday by mistake, any way this could have caused it to malfuntion? It goes up just fine, just not down.

Re: window motor

Probably not from the rain. Its something that goes with owning an fbodyor gm really. Just replace it. Actually do a search and I think theres a trick you can do to help with the problem.

Re: window motor

If you window goes up but not down, it's not your motor. Something may be binding (rubber moldings, regulator track). Probably need to have the inner panel removed and inspect what's going on.

By the way, what's a left window...driver's side
