Re: Window Motor ?

It's not very hard, first time I replaced one it took an hour but I"m sure I can do another one in 30 min or less now. You will need a drill to drill out the rivits holding the old motor on and you will also have to drill through a piece of the door itself (don't worry about it looking bad the panel covers it after) It's a simple process, shoeboxs website has a write up on it but I don't know the link, a search would come up with the site.

Might not even have to drill the rivets if it's been replaced before.

Re: Window Motor ?

It's not hard to drill them out...and there's a good chance it has already been replaced, my passenger side motor only lasted about 20K before it died.

Re: Window Motor ?

Its really easy to do.. Just to let you know though, when you take the motor out the window falls down. I wasn't expecting that one (it was also 11 by the time I got the motor out) and had to catch it quick. Switching it out was a breeze.

The window doesn't fall down if you follow my guide.
