will shops or dealership guarantee no gear whine
I looking at maybe getting some 4.10 gears for my o1 TA. I had them before in my 95 and they were great, except for the slight gear whine. I got the whole rear used so I had no dealings with any shop. I really don't want to get them if I can't get a guarantee they won't whine, its to annoying.

I think almost all 4.10's are gonna give gear whine...
I doubt a shop would give you that kind of promise...

You can eventually find someone to promise you anything you want, but realisticly, the most a shop can do is warranty that they are installed CORRECTLY.
Stiffer gears whine, newer gears whine, and our ears seem to be ultra sensitive right after an install.
