Where is the fuel pressure switch that primes the pump?
Where is the fuel pressure switch that primes the pump?
I am installing a new pump, but now that it is wired up it is still not working. My battery is almost dead so hopefully that is the reason. Just in case, I would like to know where the fuel pressure switch is that turns on the pump.
Thanks
Thanks

The only thing I found on his site was the prime connector. I will deffinately test using that connector, but I would still like to know where the relay or switch is that turns on the pump.
Thanks
Thanks

The PCM turns on the fuel pump (via the relay) when you turn the key to the run position. If you do not start the engine, the PCM will not "see" the low resolution pulse pattern from the Optispark, and will turn the pump off after about 2 seconds. It will not run again until 1) you start the engine, or 2) turn the key off and turn it back on.
