Where to find a dash pad for a 96 Z28

I lifted up my dash pad (the one that goes from the window to the dash) on my Z and it broke like a potato chip????? I called GM and they said $228.38........

Anyone know where to get this part cheaper???

Thanks
Dave

I saw one on Ebay yesterday, but I think they called it something else. Try a couple different Ebay searches. Camaro + Dashboard, Dash board, Interior, ...ect. Good luck finding it.

The correct term is Crash Pad.

A few online sites have it, gmpartsdirect.com and gm-car-parts.com off the top of my head.

I just got mine for a little over 160 at gm-car-parts.com. I've gotten several pieces from them and they're pretty quick. it takes a few days for them to get the part and then ship it out, but once it ships it's always been 2 days for me. I'm sure you could probably find it for cheaper, but i went with genuine GM parts.

Use Armor All on your new dash to protect it from the evil dash cracking summer sun.

eeeh I've heard/found armorall causes dash plastic to be more brittle. Use black magic.
