when i accelerate my "transmission" seems to rise?
when i accelerate i can see the shifter go up.. and if i change gears and get on it. it seems really rough and sounds like the transmission is rising up and hitting? is that a bad transmission mount or something else?
Re: when i accelerate my "transmission" seems to rise?
shifter movement is normal when you get on it but if its moving more than normal and actually seems like it is hitting something your tranny mount is definitely toast
Re: when i accelerate my "transmission" seems to rise?
Stiffer tranny mount'll take care of it. Otherwise normal....
When you accelerate the rear has a tndance to twist upward. Since the Torque Arm is connected to the trans... That and the twisting force ot the engine connected to the trans...
