Has any one experienced this problem.???

Where you start your engine and turn on your radio and you hear nothing but dead air, like if it was searching for signal, but not receiving any. when I do scan it just goes thru around the stations but it does stop on any station.

How should I troble shoot this problem???

Sounds like an internal radio problem. But I would check the coax at the ant. and the back of the radio first.

 

makes sense, cuz the spare tire has been bouncing around, since I don't have the little tool that holds the spare tire in place. you think that could have cause it???

 

Checked both ends of the coax cable, still not working. Anything else I can troubleshoot ???

 

Sorry, can't think of anything else outside the radio that would be causing this. Might try the audio section.
