It applies more spring pressure via the lifter body, resulting in a more controlled valvetrain in hydraulic roller applications and aiding in the prevention of valve float.

Power doesn't die off nearly as quickly once you pass the peak horsepower mark.

A definete thumbs-up from me. I had one on my 396 stroker motor that often saw 6800 rpm.

There was a good write up on the AFR Hydra Rev kit in GM High Tech Perfomacne a while a go, I don't know if it would be on their site or not but it was some good info.

Well, this was quite a while ago. I still have the article in an old issue but I did a search on their site and could not locate anything.
