What are O2 and MAF suppose to read?
What are O2 and MAF suppose to read?
This is in a 2000 v6 a4 completely stock.
I'm trying to see what might be causing a slugish driving condition. What is the reading for O2s & MAF suppose to be.
My O2s read between the following mv:
B1-S1 78-759
B2-S1 82-829
S2 243-833
The MAF read:
2373 Hz
4.15 gm/sec
I'm gonna go and look at what the injectors read a little later, what is the range of them suppose to be?

Re: What are O2 and MAF suppose to read?
The O2s will be all over the place at idle and cruise, it basically takes an "average" since they bounce up and down in the ranges you posted. The "averaged" O2 is used to determine if fueling should be richened or leaned out from the current fueling amount determined by the MAF reading (which 4gms at idle is fine..) A better determination would be what the current fueling cell or BLM long term integrator readign is. Around 128 is perfect and the O2 reading is directly related to this number. Anything higher than 128 is (lean) adding fuel, anything lower is removing fuel (rich), if this BLM number is way off of 128, that could be your problem....whats causing it could be any number of things from bad O2 sensor, stuck injector, exhaust leak, vac leak, etc.
Re: What are O2 and MAF suppose to read?
The problem i'm having is this weird studer. It'll happen at about 1.5-2k rpm and the i know it's not from the ignition, sometimes has a really weird start where the car is lopey (very very lopey) to an extend where the car is rocking back and forth and feels like it's gonna turn off.
It's just not running right & doesn't feel right. Somethings wrong and it's getting on my nerves cause i can't figure it out.
Thanks for you input.
