what nuber is my car
how do you know or how can your find out what number your car is for example: red camaro ss 103 out of 900 made in 2001. can you find it in the vin or is there a sticke on the car somewhere.

you have to call SLP with you VIN and they should be able to tell you what number your car is. I dont know if they can tell you what number your car is of that color but they should be able to tell you what number it is for that year of production

SLP will only be able to tell you what your SLP build number is.
For instance, mine is build no. 35 and was finished by SLP on 8/6/96.
As far as how many red ones there are, or how many M6's there are, etc., the only one how knows is Chevy. And they wouldn't pay anyone to compile and publish the info for us.
The http://www.camarossoa.org/ probably has the largest data bases of SS's. They might provide member info if you offered to do a data base. It would be a start.
