What gears?
What rear end gears do I have in my 96 Z28 with 6 speed? (stock)

All M6's made 1994 and newer left the factory with 3.42 gears.

You'll have to find the RPO codes in your vehicle. You can have either 2.73s or 3.23s.

Mine are posted on the inside of the drivers door, it is that square white sticker with all of the alpha-numeric codes on it.

I beleive in as A4 if you have a shift selection for 1st gear you have 3.23s otherwise you have 2.73s, I am not 100% positive on this though.
