what do i need to do to keep up with ls1

I was just curious what mods would i need to keep up with a ls1. so far i have longtube headers flowmaster80 no cats madz28 tune 30#injectors cold air intake and the only thing killing me is the 273gears and the stock converter any other ideas for bolt on's i have a 96 z28 camaro

get a new elbow and heads and u should be real close if not even

Gears and a higher stall converter should definitely put you there. You might also consider some rocker arms and springs or an electric water pump.

gears and the TC...and tires to hook up...and you are right there with any stock-ish LS1.

although there are few stock ls1s out there these days...so the rockers, EWP and other mods will still be needed for most races
