lost keys, with no copies, what do i do?

lost keys, with no copies, what do i do?

as stated in the title, i got really hammered friday night and lost my keys to my 94 camaro. would i be able to go the a gm dealer to get new ones? any advice would help except for people telling me not to drink.

I'd think they would, either that or a locksmith. Give'em a call, probably will need proof of ownership, ID, etc.

should be able to get new keys cut for you; having your key codes will make it a lot easier

as long as the ignition switch has never been replaced you can go to the dealer with you vin# and they will happily cut you a new key for like 30 bucks

they will try to tell you that it will cost $45....but if you hound them, or tell them you are from a local garage, paying cash, it should then be $25......

this happened to me once, take your registration with you to the dealership and you should be ok
