What to do?? Alarm help

Well my transmitter is dead. It is my only one since it is an aftermarket alarm and I bought the car used. I already changed the battery. No go. Cleaned the contacts and everything. Is there a way to disable the one now so I can at least use my car?? I also heard autozone can make copies of the transmitters, but I take it they have to work. Anybody try theres? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Find the manufacturer of the alarm, and buy a replacement for the key fob. Or disconect the power to the alarm system at the battery.

Bad news. I went to Autozone and they said they could not order the fob since it was not working or anything. They could not even find it in there system. Disconnecting sounds good. What do I look for? Last time I check my connections at the batt, it was just the one negative and one positive on the car. Thanks!

Since when could Autozone find anything. I still say find out who made your system and get replacement. If the Alarm power source is not at the battery, it must be wired into the fuse box. The alarm's box is under the knee panel on the drivers side. Then your problems start when you look for the power source.
