Weird question

I have a weird question for everyone. I noticed something that might be odd or might be normal I have no clue, so I figured best to ask here.

My coil, the black main body of it wiggles slightly inside the stacked metal pieces looking thing that surrounds them. In operation it can glow bluish at times from that outside edge. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Sorry for what may be a dumb question, but my idle has been pretty crappy lately but all other speeds seem fine.

Re: Weird question

coils are cheap to replace. the one in my bravada did that and i just sprouted the $ and replaced it. i just checked autozone.com for yah, 15.99. it couldnt hurt to replace it if you say it is glowing......i think they all wiggle a little bit though. if it isnt arcing or zapping you when you touch it then ?

I wasn't willing to touch it while it was operating.
