Weird Hose Connections - Anyone have any ideas?

One of my hoses going from the heater core to the waterpump decided to develop a slight crack in it leaking a tiny bit of coolant.

I want to replace the hose except that I'm not sure what I need to get because it looks like its fitted onto another pipe using a weird circular connector or fitting. Does anyone know If i can safely remove it from this metal part and just replace the PCV hose? It looks like it could be one whole segment of hose i need to replace.. any help would be appreciated

Did you check the 95-97 heater hose diagram on Shoebox's Tech Pages? Its got all the parts shown, and some of the part #'s.

Yes, you can cut off the swaged collar and secure a new hose with a worm clamp. Cut just deep enough to remove the collar and don't cut into the metal pipe inside. A cut-off wheel on a Dremel would probably work.

Yes i did, its basically hose 14 that has the hole. But it looks a bit different in my car.
Hose 14 in my car is rubber and connects to a metal hose using the weird clamps im trying to describe (I think using part 16 on the diagaram), then it goes from metal to rubber and then back to metal again.

So according to the diagram, My hose connects to the elbow starting at #13, connects to metal, connects to rubber, and then connects to the pipe near #2.

Anyhow, before asking any more questions i'm going to look at the parts manual that im dl right now... see if i can figure it out
