Weird Headlight Problem

Hey guys, so here's the problem:

2 days ago I installed clear corners in my TA. The tech article I used said to take off the rubber things and turn the headlights manually. I gave it a shot but the left headlight **** seemed to be stripped? So being lazy, I decided to just turn on the headlights and turn the car off & disconnect the negative battery terminal lol. Anyways, everything went good and I turned the headlights on and off after the installation, and everything went great.

Today I turned them on and they went up with no problem. I noticed that my driver headlight was burned out, but I expected that because it's been giving me trouble. But what really confused me was when I shut them off. They both went down perfect, but the passenger manual-**** was spinning like crazy and making a horrible noise that sounded kinda like an air compressor. The noise continued for about 5-7 seconds then stopped. It happens every time I shut them off now.

What could be the reason for this? I noticed that you can buy a brass gear replacement, but I was wondering if there's an easier solution, because it still works great.

Here's a video of the passenger **** right after shutting the headlights off:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks guys!
