weak electrical system
Lately I have noticed that my electrical system seems week - like there is not enough power. Symptoms are as follows:
x when I click into highbeems, the needles (speedo/rpm) "jump" then settleback down. This also happens when i push the electric window button, use my blinker, etc -- anything that draws current.
x if I am idling and turn on the a/c the car acts like it wants to stall as teh compressor engages (but doesn't)
x the ABS light comes on occasionally (could be anther issue, I know, but when I needed a new alternator a couple years ago, this was a symptom).
Other than that the car runs perfectly -- everything works, there are no issues at all. Just seems a little weird -- any ideas? Put a new battery in a few months back, was a cheapo from autozone, wondering if an underpowered battery could cause this? Seems like when the car is runnin the alternator should more than make up for this , right?
BTW its a '95 3.4l Camaro
