voltage gauge shows less then 13 volts

please I need help.
sudenly I noticed the warning gauge light, after that i noticed the voltmeter showing only 12v.
How can I fix it?

Have your charging system checked. Sounds like the alternator is not working.

i changed rectifier, regulator and brushes in my alternator but still not charging
Any body has any ideea. pls help

Like Shoebox asked, have you actually tested anything, or are you just assuming the dash voltage gauge is correct? If you have a simple multitester, set the range to 25V DC and check your voltage at the battery both running and off.

If you think the alternator is bad, take it to any of the major auto parts stores, and they will hook it up to a test machine usually for free.

Guessing can get expensive...
