Turn Signals not working

The other day my turn signals started to speed up and then seem like they were losing power or something when i was taking a turn....then it stopped all of a sudden. I can't get either one to work and they do not stay on at all times like some people say. I have no turn signals at all so its probably not a relay.

They do work when I turn on the hazards......so i take it, it is not a burnt out bulb. The fuses are all ok I believe...checked all of them on that side panel and they all seem to look fine....nothing blown.

Any suggestions on this one? If it was a blown relay they would still turn on but just not blink, correct?

Thanks for any help you can give me. I appreciate it.

Re: Turn Signals not working

Try changing the turn signal flasher. I'll have to guess it's on a 4th gen, since you provide no car info to help.

Re: Turn Signals not working

Thank you for the reply. I will try and change that today. I thought if the lights would stay on and not blink then it was the flasher but I guess it wont hurt to change it.....and if worse comes to worse....I have an extra flasher.

And I am sorry about no info on the car....yes it is a 4th gen. 94 to be exact. Thanks again.
