Trying to Find Member Ratio411

I read u found a way to disable your del's while keeping the auto headlights. I was wondering if your brake light and rear hatch light continued to work as a result of this mod? Does EVERYTHING work as it did before the mod aside from the drl's not turning on?

I also have another question for anyone who reads this and knows the answer. I have an 02 ss and it has a 2" x 2" black box with one plug that has SLP Performance on it. It's not just a sticker. This box is secured to the blank spot right next to the fog lght switch.

One last thing. Every car I have ever owned or driven has had a light telling u when the cruise control is on. I test drove. 99 ss and it had it, but this 02 seems to not. Can anyone with an 02 confirm the lack of a cruise light?

I have completed the drl portion if this post and I wantedto add to the part about cutting the blue, blue/white stripe, lt. blue, lt. blue/white stripe. I am a stickler for keeping things looking original so I did not.cut the wires. Instead, I used a small o-ring pulled to depress the tab that holds the wire in Tue plug and pulled it out of the plug itself. This way I can put it back to original if I want and noone will be able to know I ever touched it. By connecting the blue and blue/white stripe wires together and the lt. blue and lt. blue/white stripe wires together, I have disabled the drl's and the brake light works and the hatch release button still operates as original. On manual trans cars, the hatch button will not operate with the key on and doing this mod this way, you obtain the own operation of the hatch button.

As for the 2 x 2 box with SLP Performance on it appears to be a traction control reversal device. The way the tcs is originally is ON. This device makes the default setting for the tcs as off. Pushing the tis button now turns the tcs on. For some reason the buy bought this device and the car doesn't even have tcs sort.looks like I have a part destined for EBay.

The traction control reverser hooks between the TC switch and the TC wiring. If your car has the switch and wiring then it has TC.

And none of this discussion is about the engine which is the area that you posted in. I will move it.

According to the header I have it says GENERAL, not engine. This was the 1st post I made. It has the wiring but not the switch. I also looked for the code on the door and it doesn't have that either.

I don't really need him so much anymore. What I do need is to know if anyone who owns an 02 SS, do they have light that comes on when they activate their cruise control? I don't have a light that light up when the cruise is in operation. I had a dealer tell me that because the turn signal switch had the word "on" written on it the there ain't be a light. I have never heard anything so ridiculous. My 03 Rendezvous, 93 Roadmaster, 88 Nissan P/U, 98 Eclipse Turbo and even the 99 Camaro SS I test drove all had the word "on" on turn signal stalk and still had a cruise light that lit up when the cruise was in operation. Hell, my 88 Nissan had 2 lights. 1 when u flipped the switch to the on position to tell u the system was ready to go and 1 when the system was in operation.
