Trunk-pop switch, positive or negative?

I need to know if the trunk-pop switch is positive or negative. I'm installing a remote system to just lock and unlock the doors and pop the trunk. Thanks for any help.

Re: Trunk-pop switch, positive or negative?

Does anyone know? I grounded the brown wire that goes to the trunk pop switch and it poped the trunk, so I used a quick connect and hooked the trunk pop wire from the box, and set the fuse to negative polarity and the trunk doesn't pop. Does anyone know how to make this work? I want to put my car back together ASAP.

Its a positive pulse for the trunk release on a 93-95, according to designtech

if you go to www.designtech-intl.com you can find wiring diagrams and wire color tables for most cars.

I just figured out what the problem was. It was hooked up correctly, but the quick connect didn't penetrate all the way through the coating on the wire coming from the box.
