Thread pitch for shift knob on 89 Z-28?

Thread pitch for shift **** on 89 Z-28?

I keep getting different replies. Some tell me it 16mmx 1.5.
Others say it's 3/8 x16? And others say 5/8x20?
Anybody have a definite answer?

Did you take your stock **** to a hardware store and try different bolt sizes?
