Those with chambered mufflers

Hey Im building my exhaust system and IVe been looking at www.sweet-thunder.com for my mufflers and would just like to know how some of you have your system setup. My idea so far is I have jethot longtubes that will unload into a set of 3" high flow cats which lead to a 3" X-pipe system followed by 18" chambered mufflers that turn to the side with oval pipe and come out in front of the tire with the sweet thunder tips. Now what Im wondering is in the lt1 vette catback they sell they seem to havea looong set of mufflers(maybe atleast 30") after the x-pipe then another set of short ones (maybe 18") right before the tips, now wouldnt that be extremely quiet or would cats and a set of 18"ers be terribly loud? At the moment if I could get 24" mufflers to fit while still being able to bring it out the sides in front of the rear tires I will but I still have to measure... I would just like some input from some people who have systems with these mufflers...BTW I have an LT1.

From what I've heard in sound clips, try to get as long a muffler under there as you can if you're concerned about loudness. These things are loud! They do sound amazing though!
