Switching over to Synthetic oil?

Switching over to Synthetic oil?
Are there any special steps when making the change from standard to synthetic oil? Found out that the dealership i bought my new SS from has not been using synthetic, doesn't the SS come from the factory with synthetic?

I took my camaro to the dealer for an oil change and I was told that this cars should only use synthetic oil. It is a little pricey around 70 dlls so I would recommend doing it yourself its about half the price

The only reason I use synthetic in my car, pep boys had a MADD calendar with coupons for buy 3 mobile 1 synthetic and get 3 free. I figure hey....it is about the same price as regular oil, so I will use those coupons til next years coupons.
The calendars were $1
but yeah....otherwise I use the castrol synthetic blend.
