Swap Front Seats

The drivers seat in my 94 Z28 is wore out, but the passenger seat is like new. I was wondering if I pulled the seats out of the car if I could swap the seats on the seat frames or if they are not interchangeable. It would get me by until I can find a good used seat to replace it with. I know the seat release would be on the wrong side, but I can live with that.

Thanks.

The seat mounts to the rails, the rails have the power. I plan to keep the rails on the side they are, just move the seat. Some cars the seat bolts are in a square and you can swap, other cars they are not. I am wondering about this car.

The seats unbolt really easily. It should only take you 15 min or so to find out, so I'd just give it a shot.

Never thought about doing that, if it works could save some serious $ though...

I think the seat belts are going to be the only problem posed.

Other than your passenger seat is going to be messed up. I just bought one from a local salvage when My seat was shot.
