Super charged 95-98 mustang vs. LS1

Looking for opinions on who would win a 1/4 race between the two cars in the title. 95-98 super charged mustang vs. Full bolt on LS1.

Not enough information on the Mustang. Any more details?

Still not enough info on the mustang imo.... how many #'s of boost he's running is the wild card.

I'd put my $$$ on the ls1, considering it cant be that much if he's still using the stock heads.

Just a blown and cammed 5.0 has ZERO chance against a full bolt on LS1 unless someone like Stevie Wonder is driving the LS1.

This is what I was thinking.

Although full bolt on LS1's are easily capable of runing mid-low 12's with stock cam and heads.

How Much PSi for the pony?

I beat a guy who was running 9lbs boost when I was almost completely stock in a 97 Mustang GT. I had a lid and catback.

Horsepower TV installed a Vortech kit on a 95 Mustang 5.0 and only got 215rwhp or so.

HP TV does extremely conservative setups with modest numbers . They are worth more power then that.

You wont know till either you race it or find out what motor and other mods the stang has. Anyone who jumps and says the LS1 will win is a tard. How can that be said when nobody has enough info on the mustang.

Because most Stangs, be they 4.6s or 5.0s, on stock heads don't make wholly impressive numbers, even with the blower strapped to them.

That being said, I do agree with you. There still is not enough info to know how this race would turn out.
