I've been asked by a few forum members about the safety of fiberglass hoods. It is a great question. I cannot speak for other hood manufacturers but Suncoast builds in crush zones just like the OEM's. We've also taken the time to test some of them. I've uploaded a very short video of one getting slammed. Even if you don't care about hoods or fiberglass, its always fun to watch something explode.
