steering wheel problem!!!

steering wheel problem!!!

lmao before my 1986 z28 camaro blew up i could move my steering wheel tilt colum up, down and to the left and thinking the bolts have came loss or the bearing went bad or something and never had a chance to take the thing apart to see what it really is.

There are three bolts under the blinker plate that hold the top of the assembly together. It's not uncommon for these to come loose.

Yeah it if those bolts are tight and it's still doing it the bearings/bushings are shot...it was really common on 70's and 80's GM stuff. Not sure about 90's

i'm pretty sure this is what he was saying would fix it, unless bearing failure.
