starter problems

starter problems

this is gonna seem pretty stupid...but i replaced my starter yesterday...and its not working agin this morning. any ideas on what could burn a starter out in less than 24 hrs...especially since it was only started three maybe four times since being replaced?

Recheck your electrical connections, including the mounting bolt torque and battery connections. Could also be a bad cable, or faulty clutch switch or neutral switch. It may not have been the starter the first time, or it could simply be a minor installation snag that retorquing will fix. Good luck!

ended up being the neutral switch...but the old starter was dead...dont know how the problem didnt surface any beforehand...but who knows
