Here is the deal. I have a 1995 Camaro with 97+ style rear brake lights and the cruise has stopped working.

When I first put my SS spoiler on I had cruise control issues. For some reason the cruise module or ECM does not like to see the 2 third brake light bulbs removed from the system. What I did at the time was retain the 2 bulb brake light and stuff it in the fender and tap the LED brake light off of that and it worked fine.

For some reason at the time I had to clip the light blue wire coming off of the brake pedal switch to get the cruise to work which it did.

Later on I installed the 97+ rear lights and since there are additional bulb elements I can remove the old third brake light. The cruise module or PCM now thinks the additional 97+ elements are the old third brake light.

Everything worked fine till today, my cruise has stopped working.

Unfortunately I dont quite remember the method to my madness with respect to the light blue wire being clipped from the brake pedal switch, I think because the 95 lights have two brak bulbs on each side and the 97+ have only one.

Anyway the cruise aint working.

Can anyone help me out here?
