Everytime my clutch pedal is slowly pressed or depressed it makes a squeaking noise. I tried to spray lube the linkage but it didnt really do anything. Anyone elese have this problem?

 

I have the same problem on mine! Gets bad in winter especially. Perhaps a grommet or a bad bushing. Either way, I havent had a chance to search to much. I posted on here once before looking for help and noone replied. GL

I noticed the same thing after I did the A4 to M6 swap. All the parts were new, so I just ignored it. I don't hear it all anymore! 8-)

 

Yea, it's ridiculous. I had brand new pedals on mine too and they squeak after only a few weeks. I'll try putting some WD-40 on the linkage.

 

I was looking at the pedal today and it sounds like the noise is coming from the rod that pushes on the master cyl. I tried lubing that but it goes into a cylinder type assembly that acts like a plunger so it wont accept any lubricant. I think its time to start putting parts on. Ill try and get to a dealer on Monday and have the parts guy bring up the illustration and see what parts I can get.

 

I think you're going to be throwing parts at it for a long time, with no practical results, but let us know if you do have some luck.

 

Mine squeaks too.. I think it's the return spring for the pedal itself.. Check the fulcrum?? aka, pivot point...
