Smoking into the cabin of the car from behind radio
It’s a LT1 95 Z28 Automatic but Not only the cabin but the engine bay and under the car about after 10 minutes of running and driving somewhat fast it’ll slowly build if not driving or window rolled down I’m only 21 and I’m trying to keep this car the guy I got it from a dad had passed and it had sat for like a year outside I believe I live in northwest so I don’t know the damage all the way really but it’s runs and drives good and the I’m able to still spin it out good with tremendous clouds but before I continue my foolery I’d love to fix it and it was doing this problem before I learned to spin the car. But I’ll drop pictures and videos.

Reason: 1995 LT1 V8 Auto
Is the oil level, or coolant level below normal? Have you replaced the oil, coolant and other fluids since taking possession of the car?
How many miles on the car?
about 160k miles on it I know it’s an fluid leaking I’ve done all the fluid changes about 3 weeks ago now but I know it’s somewhat sweet really don’t know the difference in the smells too much I know the under of the car is a oil leak supposedly as word from a mechanic I know. I fill the coolant reservoir and radiator up and then about after 15 minutes of driving I get the low coolant light but the fluid levels visually haven’t changed and I know the oil gage has been working right but so far only the tranny, coolant and oil change
Re: Smoking into the cabin of the car from behind radio
Coolant smells sweet when it burns, as in dripping on the exhaust system. There is a “steam pipe” at the rear of the engine that connects the heads and directs coolant and any vapor to the radiator. Might be the culprit.
You need to check the coolant level in the radiator (not the reservoir) after driving for a while. It should always be up to the very top of the fill neck, with no air.
