Car vibrates t-tops off windows up

Well I was driving home today with the t-tops off I have a hour drive home and about 40 min. in it got chilly so I rolled up the windows. About 30 seconds later the car started vibrating really bad. I'm so used to my dads caravan that does it and I thought the lock up coverter was causing the problem. Well I rolled my windows down and it went away rolled them up and it came back. I did this about 10 times leaving the windows up or down at different time intervals. Why was the car doing this? I never had this problem before.

Oh i forgot to mention that it did this from about 25 on up. And I'm sorry since I think I put this topic in the wrong forum. It was windy out today maybe that had an effect on the car.

did you try cracking the windows to see if it went away. if it does it's probably just the wind.

Yup, its just turbulance. The air rushing over the car is causing it. I have always found that if you dont put the windows all the way up is keeps this from happening. Just crack the windows a bit and it will go away.

definately turbulance, like everyone else said already
one t-top flew off on the highway (friend forgot to latch it) and on the way home it had a terrible vibration
i was about to take the other top off and roll down the windows but it was just too chilly so i dealt with it
next time, just put the tops back on

Yeah i'll deal with it I took my aunt and little cousin for a ride today and tried to get the car to do it with them in the car but there was enough weight that the car wouldn't do it. They prob. don't even weigh 200 lbs combined so I think that's why I never have noticed it before since I usually have somebody in the car with me when the tops are off and the windows are up. The vibration is still there but you can barely feel it. I did notice if the windows are only 3/4 of the way up it doesn't do it so I guess i'll leave it there if it gets a little chilly with the tops off again.
Thanks for the help.
