Skip Shift Fix!

Where can I find a guide or something to help me fix my skip shift using the .99c Radio Shack method?

Re: Skip Shift Fix!

Unplugging the harness will set a code, and on all OBD-II cars will turn on the SES light.

Go to Radio Shack, get a 2.2Kohm, 1/2 watt resistor. Pull the harness off the solenoid, and put the resistor wires into the ends of the harness contacts. Tape up the harness/resistor, tape up the end of the open connection on the solenoid. Tie the harness wire up so it doesn't dangle.
