I'm getting a new steering wheel for Christmas later today, and I want to know if I can just pull the fuse for the SIR instead of having to unhook the battery so that I can unplug the SIR and replace the steering wheel. I just got a new stereo today as well and I have all the EQ settings and crap almost where they need to be and I don't want to have to reset them if I don't have to.

 

I would undo the batter, wait 5 minutes, pull the fuse and then go to town. Is it really worth having an airbag explode on you just to not have to redo your eq settings.

 

damn, I figured thats what I'd have to do.
