battle for the 10 second slip continutes .. trip to SIR (need big favor)

So all i needed was one more measly run to blast off my 10.xx run that i've been working so goddamn hard all year for .. and it had to get rained out

apparently SIR has 2 more events on this sunday and the next .. me and Greg (GTstang) with his 9 second stang are planning on making a trip out to SIR to make a few more passes before calling it quits for the season

now my big favor to be asked is ... is anyone with a truck willing to lend me his truck or come along with me so i can tow my car down to SIR .. i can probably borrow a trailer (if not i'll rent one from u Haul) but i still need a vehicle to haul it with

so chime in if ur up for a day trip to SIR and/or up for lending me ur truck (i know its a big favor to ask... )

thanx, and it would mean a LOT to me as i've been after this time slip all year ... and i would've had it if it werent for that 2 mintues of rain

anyway ... let me know

cheerZ

Ryan is also lookng for a 10 second slip out of his 414 LS1. IF it does not rain it could be a good get together.

Cant wait ti watch that car of your flying man!

Pa'yam, don't know if this would help, but I have a dolly which needs to be licenced, (about 90 bucks) and this thing hooks up behind any truck with a 2"ball! Only one set of wheels are carried on the dolly and the trailer has surge brakes. I have hauled my wife's Caddy behind my motorhome all the way to Palm Springs and back! The beauty of this thing is that it only weighs like 500 lbs.

I haven't used it for about a year but I guess if you paid for the licencing of it, you would have the right to use it any time within the next year! Let me know!

I have a truck you borrow Payam. It'll need a permit for the day though. I haven't driven it since last winter. It's a 77 Ford F-250 in decent shape, big block means hard on gas but lots of power, (for an old truck).

It's reliable, lots of new parts except it might need a tune-up. I was going to tune it up anyways soon. Check your pm Payam.

Payam. I might be going down in the D if you pay for gas. You have a trailer?

Might be able to rent Rash's for you.

Bob: I'll think about ur proposition $45 is what u need right ? if i cant find another traile i'll probably take u up on that offer

Shaun: Rash's trailer is spoken for by greg i think (although if he cant find a truck then i guess i can grab it .. ) rash didnt seem to mind greg borrowing it .. he's been very friendly to me at the track .. doubt he'll mind lending it to us ... i'll pay for gas of course

Steve: do u know if a day permit is allowed in the states ?
