Re: shift light

I have the Autometer Quick Lite (small one) and have mine mounted to the A pillar (I have a dual gauge pod mounted there too). There should be an rpm output line on the MSD that would go to the shift light.

Re: shift light

I have the MSD light. It's mounted on the dash at the base of the windshield pillar and its wired to the tach, no MSD box necessary.

Re: shift light

I've always wondered, I have my rev limiter set at 6k (6AL). If I hook the light into my MSD will the light come on at 6k-RIGHT WHEN THE REV LIMITER KICKS IN? Or just a split second before?

Re: shift light

Most lights are adjustable independently of the rev limiter so you can change when it comes on.
