shift boot retainer ring(metal)
does anyone know the guy on here who makes these,I seen it on this site but I dont rember his name ,thought he was in IL. he made a retainer ring out of stainless or aluminum and at that time he said that he would make one for like $15 or $20 shipped, I did a search but could not find it,anyone know if this was for 93-96 camaro or 97-02 ?, and how can I get one. thanks

I am interested in this also, my retainer boot in my 94 M6 Trans Am is shot. I dont want to pay $45 from the dealer for a shift boot, which only comes in black with another plastic ring.
